Most small business logos were made once, in a hurry, by whoever was cheapest; or, by the owner at 11pm in Canva. They work until they don’t. The sign shop asks for a vector file you don’t have, the embroidery quote comes back double because the mark uses eight colors, and the version on your van doesn’t match the one on your menu.
A logo is not a picture. It is a working part of your business that has to survive a printer, an embroidery machine, a phone screen, and fifteen years.

Is this the right service for you?
A good fit if
You’re opening a business and need a mark before your signage goes up
You’ve outgrown something you made yourself and it’s starting to cost you
Your printer or sign shop has asked for files you don’t have
You need one logo that works on a shirt, a van, and a phone screen
Probably not a fit if
You need something by Friday for under $200. I’d rather say so now
You want a full brand system with colors, type and guidelines (that’s branding)
You already have a logo people recognize and just want it modernized (that’s a redesign)
You want to pick from stock marks. Nothing wrong with that, it just isn’t this
How it works
Two to four weeks start to finish, depending on how quickly feedback comes back.
01
Scoping call
Twenty minutes on what your business does, who buys from you, and every surface the logo has to live on.
02
Concepts
Two or three real directions, each with the reasoning behind it. You’ll know why, not just what.
03
Refinement
Two rounds working from your feedback. Most projects land in the first.
04
Files
Everything above in one folder, named properly, ready to hand to your printer or sign shop.
Or $1,320 - $2,750 for a full brand identity with color, typography and a style guide. Where you land depends on how many surfaces the mark has to work across and how much research the project needs upfront. You get a fixed number in writing before anything starts.
Two to four weeks for most projects. The variable is how fast feedback comes back, not how fast I draw. If you’re working against an opening date, say so and I’ll tell you honestly whether it fits.
What if I don’t like any of the concepts?
It happens, and it usually means the brief needed sharpening rather than that the work was wrong. Two rounds of revisions are included. The scoping call at the start is what prevents it. I’d rather spend an hour on questions than a week on a direction you don’t want.
Can you match my existing signage or vehicle wrap?
Yes. Bring photos and any files you have. If the colors were matched by eye rather than to a Pantone, I’ll get as close as the print process allows and tell you where it won’t be exact.
Do I get the actual files, or just the images?
The actual files. Vector source, high-resolution exports, and every color variation, at no extra charge. You own them outright. Fonts are the one exception - those stay licensed from their foundry, so you get download instructions instead.
Do you work outside Tacoma?
Regularly - Gig Harbor, Kitsap County, Puyallup, Lakewood and across the South Sound, and remotely beyond that.
Need a logo that actually works?
Tell me what you’re building and where the mark has to live. I’ll come back with a fixed price and an honest timeline; or, I’ll tell you if you need something other than a logo. Logo design for small businesses in Tacoma, Gig Harbor and Pierce County.
